Welcome to Khasdzoon Yusk’ut Botanical Garden

TS’UHOONT’I WHUZHADEL!  “WE ARE HAPPY YOU CAME”

Rooted in the language and traditions of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation, Khasdzoon Yusk’ut means “Red Maple on the Hill.”  This garden is a living expression of Indigenous knowledge, native plants, and community connection in Northern BC.

Land Acknowledgment

We respectfully acknowledge that Khasdzoon Yusk’ut Botanical Garden is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation. We honour their enduring relationship with this land and are committed to reflecting their values of stewardship, respect, and cultural knowledge in all that we grow.

A New Botanical Destination Is Growing in Northern BC

NATURE, CULTURE, AND LEARNING COMING TOGETHER IN OUR INAUGURAL GARDEN SPACE

We’re building Northern BC’s premier botanical garden. A place where nature, culture, and education come together. The first phase, the David Douglas Educational Display Garden at UNBC in Prince George, BC, is now open to visitors.
